4-star beachfront hotel with on-site water park and private beach
Location
The hotel offers direct beachfront access to Amoudara Beach, a Blue Flag sandy shore with shallow waters suited for families. Guests can walk from the pool area to the beach without crossing a road. A bus stop outside the main gate provides service to Heraklion city center and the Palace of Knossos, both within 15 km.
Leisure
The on-site spa provides complimentary spa services and wellness packages for guests, including a steam room, body scrubs, and Cretan massages by therapists such as Jenny and Sofoklis. Two outdoor pools with sun loungers and pool bars offer areas for relaxation, while the fitness center features equipment for daily exercise. The spa facility also includes a dedicated area for children's treatments, making it accessible for all ages.
Family and Children
The on-site water park includes a kamikaze slide, wave rider, and toddler splash area with small slides, though children must be at least 8 years old for the larger rides. A kids' club for ages 4-12 offers bracelet-making and supervised play, while the entertainment team runs mini discos and themed nights like Greek dancing. The hotel also provides travel cots, high chairs, and a children's buffet in the main restaurant.
Dining
The main restaurant, Minos, serves a buffet with themed nights such as Asian, Mexican, and Greek cuisine, with a dedicated gluten-free corner. The Greek a la carte restaurant on the beachfront is available once per stay, offering served meals with tablecloths and sea views. A crepe and waffle bar near reception offers freshly made options with toppings, open daily.
Entertainment and Bars
Evening entertainment on the roof terrace includes live music performances, karaoke, and Greek dance nights, with a separate wine bar for quieter evenings. The Evropi bar serves cocktails, local spirits, and coffee, with staff such as George and Marina providing service. Daytime activities like water polo, beach volleyball, and darts are organized by the animation team, with the option to rent jet skis or pedal boats from the beach.
