Villa Canes Heated Pool: 5-Bedroom Villa with Heated Pool & Sea Views in Vathi (Crete)
Accommodations & Layout
Villa Canes Heated Pool offers a five-bedroom, five-bathroom layout, providing separate living quarters across two buildings. The main villa houses the primary bedrooms, while a separate guest building offers privacy for extended family or groups. All rooms include air conditioning, a washing machine, and a dishwasher for self-catering stays.
Heated Pool & Outdoor Living
The property's key selling point is a year-round heated pool that maintains a temperature around 29 degrees Celsius during warmer weather, as noted by the host. The pool is open all year and includes a shallow end, a pool with view over the sea, and sun loungers or beach chairs. A BBQ facility, outdoor furniture, and a sun terrace with garden access extend the living space outdoors.
Amenities
The villa offers free WiFi, free on-site parking, and a safety deposit box. A host provides express check-in/check-out, and the property is equipped with fire extinguishers and smoke alarms. Bicycle rental and car hire are available through the villa, and an airport shuttle to Sitia Public Airport (56 km away) can be arranged.
Location
Villa Canes is located 2.1 km from Kalou Choriou Beach and 9 km from Lake Voulismeni. The nearest airport is Sitia Public Airport, 56 km by road. Walking distance from the villa there is a taverna and a beach, with a supermarket a short drive away.
Guest Feedback & Practical Notes
Guest reviews highlight the peaceful location and the cleanliness of the villa. The property is accessed via a steep, long driveway with limited turning space, requiring reversing to the main road. One group noted during colder weather (18-22 degrees Celsius) the heated pool could not reach its usual 29 degrees.
