Villa Fontana is a two-bedroom villa with a living room, a terrace, and a balcony offering garden views. The property's layout requires walking through the second bedroom to reach the kitchen or bathroom, though guests can lock the adjoining door and use the terrace as an alternative route. The villa includes air-conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washing machine.
Leisure
The villa has an infinity pool with a view, open all year, and sun loungers or beach chairs. The outdoor area provides excellent spots for reading, dining, or relaxing, with BBQ facilities and outdoor furniture on the sun terrace. The pool is small but functional, and the property offers pool/beach towels.
Location
The hotel provides express check-in/check-out, laundry, and ironing service. Guests can arrange a paid shuttle service, airport drop off and pick up, or car hire through the property. Free WiFi, free parking, and family rooms are available, with soundproof rooms and heating for year-round comfort.
Location
Villa Fontana is located 11 km from Phaistos and the Museum of Cretan Ethnology. The property sits in a quiet village about 50 minutes' drive from Heraklion, with a 20-minute drive to Matala beach. The nearby beaches include Kommos, and guests will need a car unless they plan to stay by the pool daily.
Family & Couple Suitability
The villa accommodates families with two bedrooms and family rooms, though the layout is best suited for couples who do not need both bedrooms. The private location offers privacy, and the host, Antonis, provides restaurant recommendations. Guest reviews note the property's lovely outdoor area and recommend returning.
