Crete Golf Club Hotel - Located at Crete's only 18-hole championship golf course
Golf
Crete Golf Club Hotel sits directly on the island's only 18-hole Championship course, a par 71 parkland design that rewards precision over distance. The course features tight fairways, numerous bunkers, and bent grass greens, with a driving range and two practice putting greens for warm-up. Golfers can rent TaylorMade Stealth or Qi10 clubs, book lessons with pro Henrik, and use buggies equipped with an ice box for cold water bottles.
Rooms
All rooms overlook the golf course and mountains, with Junior Suites offering generous space for families. Each room includes a marble bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower, plus a Nespresso machine and kettle for in-room coffee and tea. Private balconies provide panoramic views of the manicured fairways and Cretan landscape.
Dining
The on-site restaurant serves European cuisine with an emphasis on high-quality local ingredients, served in a setting with breathtaking mountain views. Guests can order à la carte breakfast daily, and the menu includes dishes like ham and cheese toasties for €4.50. The restaurant staff, including Rania and Maria, accommodate dietary needs such as lactose intolerance.
Leisure
The seasonal outdoor salt-water pool overlooks the golf course and offers sun loungers, umbrellas, and pool towels. The fitness center provides workout equipment, and the hotel can arrange golf equipment rentals and car hire for exploring the area. Free parking is available on-site, and the 24-hour front desk offers local recommendations and concierge services.
Services
A 24-hour front desk staff provides guidance on local attractions, such as Aquaworld Aquarium and Labyrinth Park, both within 2 km. Babysitting and child services are available for families, and the hotel offers laundry, dry cleaning, and ironing. Other facilities include a chapel/shrine, a designated smoking area, and a shared lounge with TV.
